We’re here to give you the best on the water experience possible. That’s why we provide covered boats, that’s why we keep our boats full of gas powering engines that can get you to the spots FAST and that is why we want you informed on recent wildlife sightings or fishing reports. 

 

While this is self-guided boat rentals, we want to be your support system to increase chances of success for whatever you are after. Book with us or contact us to learn more.

Our Boats

Our fleet features the Hewescraft Searunner 210 and 220, proven Pacific Northwest workhorses designed for coastal Alaska conditions and independent adventures on the water.

Built from heavy gauge welded aluminum, they deliver exceptional strength, stability, and safety. Its deep V hull, high freeboard, and wide beam provide a soft, dry ride. The enclosed windshield and thoughtful layout help protect operators and passengers from wind and spray, making longer days on the water more comfortable and enjoyable. We allow up to six total passengers.

These boats are the real deal for self guided fishing adventures, but also for whale watching, sightseeing, and exploring remote coves, islands, and shorelines.

We can provide salmon and halibut gear, landing nets and fish bats for those planning to fish. Operators receive a clear, straightforward boat and gear orientation on arrival, so you can focus on the adventure at hand right away.

Boats are picked up and dropped back at Seward Harbor

Other than the covered areas, we do not provide foul weather gear or equipment – dress for any weather (ie warm and in layers)

We’re going to test you, if you can’t tie a cleat off or know the port from the starboard, we may raise some eyebrows.

Fishing tackle and bait is not included

No Harpoons

Coverage for fines or actions taken while on the water: You are responsible for operating the vessel prudently and following state and federal regulations or if you are fined by the ADF&G or USCG for operating under the influence or illegally harvesting fish.

Coverage for damage resulting from negligent or reckless operation of the boat – hitting rocks, damaging propellers, losing anchors, cutting oil seals with fishing line – we do not charge for labor to repair these things, and we only pass on the material cost of repair (a new propeller, anchor, etc)
